After reconnecting with my western roots I have enhanced my art work with the wild horses of the Mesa. Having owned an Arabian, a Quarter Horse and have a Lipizzaner Stallion (retired), my love of horses is now being transferred into stained glass. Meeting the Wild Horses of The Mesa has been the trigger that released my passion for bringing them to life.

ABOUT DAVID A BURKE, PHOTOGRAPHER
David Burke, born and raised in Powell, Wyoming, has been taking photos of anything outdoors that would move (or, didn’t move) in Northern Wyoming since the days of the "Brownie" camera. Having used "4x5" and "5x7" large format cameras in high school photography, he found the 35mm both realistic and somewhat affordable. With film being a valuable luxury, he remembered what his photography instructor meant when he said "Always take the best picture you possibly can". That philosophy is still used today. The best artistic picture means less editing in the dark room or at the computer. 40 years later, and using digital cameras, he still does minimal editing. Having studied Environmental Sciences and Ecology in college, this has shaped the way David attempts to capture unaltered moments in Nature.

“My interest in documenting American’s wild horses began while working on my film ‘Spirit Riders’ about the birth of an American Indian peace movement, as well as learning about the removal of these beautiful wild animals while living in Wyoming,” says Kleinert. “I’m excited for the opportunity to share my five year journey on Documentary Channel, and I hope this film will not only educate viewers about the disturbing, massive removal of our horses but to inspire change to the future of these precious animals.”
At Scaena we build the best loudspeaker systems, limited only by the physical laws we live by. Hence, "The Iso-Linear Array".
